On January 20, 2006, Elizabeth Winslow Stewart of Linthicum passed away. The devoted wife of the late John P. Stewart; Beloved mother of Robert G. Stewart Sr., Sarah Poor Young and Elizabeth Tiemann; Loving sister of Caleb Winslow Jr. and Louise W. Williams; Cherished grandmother of Mary Clare, Robert Garey Jr., Edward Randolph, Jacquelyn and Marguerite Stewart and Louis Robert "Tate" Tiemann. She is predeceased by her parents, Cabel Sr. and Lena Winslow. Elizabeth attended West Town School in Pennsylvania. She then attended Goucher College in Baltimore and was a member of Delta Gamma. She belonged to the Dear Haven Yacht Club, Belvedere Yacht Club, Huguenot Society of MD, the Women's Club of Roland Park, the D. A. R., the Women's Eastern Shore Society, attended the Homewood Friends Meeting where she was active with the Indian Affairs and was also an enthusiastic member of the Red Hat Society. Elizabeth also attended the Anne Arundel County Citizen Police meetings. She enjoyed spending time, since childhood, at the family Winslow Lodge located on Thousand Acres at Deep Creek Lake. She was a multi-faceted woman with a love for life.
