Ella Mae Evans, 80, of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 2, 2012 at the Tate Hospice House in Linthicum. Ella Mae was born in 1932 in Montclair, NJ to the late Lillian Mae & Nelson Joseph Parker. She worked at Tate Access Floors in Jessup as a contract administrator for nearly 20 years. Ella Mae was a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church and the Young at Heart Group at the church and she volunteered with the Department of Aging at Glen Forest Apartments. Her hobbies included BINGO, crafts, and swimming. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 50 years, Edward L. Evans, Sr., her son, Michael Lee Evans, and her siblings, Robert Parker and Ruth Martin. Ella Mae is survived by her beloved children, Edward L. Evans, Jr. and Karen Lynn Kremer; her loving grandchildren, April Lynn Fels, Jason Alan Evans, Amanda Lynn Edwards, Nicole Marie Evans, Patrick Keith-Jae Willett, Andrew Colin Evans, and Brandy Lee Evans; and four cherished great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy, Annapolis, MD 21401.
