Ellen Baumgardner

Ellen Baumgardner, 87, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2017 at her home in Deale, MD surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Layland, West Virginia on Jan. 23, 1930, to the late Adam and Ethel Farms. Ellen married the love of her life, Leonard "Paul" Baumgardner on May 19, 1948 and stayed together for just shy of 70 years. They raised their 4 children in Glen Burnie MD., where she worked as a seamstress.
Ellen is preceded in death by her siblings Florence, Wessie, Lorena, and Adam Jr.; and her son, Luther Charles "Peanut". Ellen is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leonard Paul; her children, Sandra Baumgardner, Leonard Paul Baumgardner, Jr., Jeffery (Cindy) Baumgardner; her grandchildren, Sean (Michelle) Baumgardner, Jimmy (Donna) Puccinelli, Paul Baumgardner III, Jessica (Dave) Bickel; and great grandchildren, Tre, Trenton and Owen.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW, (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, on Fri., Jan 5, from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM, for a visitation. A Celebration of Ellen's life will be held on Sat., Jan. 6, at 10 AM in the funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Mem. Park.
