On August 11, 2017, Elwood "Glenn" Dudley, 83, of Pasadena, passed away at Union Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kinston, North Carolina, to the late Ethel and Simmie Dudley. Glenn served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1951-1955 and then in the Naval Reserves until 1959. He went on to open his own swimming pool repair company, Glenn's Pool Service. Glenn enjoyed fishing and boating, working on lawn mowers, and watching sports.
Glenn is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Shirley Jean Dudley; his brother Allen Dudley and his wife Rita; and his fifteen dear nieces and nephews, including, Donna Moylan. He was predeceased by four siblings, and four nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, August 16th. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 17th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
