Elwood Hicks, Jr

On January 12, 2007, Elwood "Bill" Hicks, Jr. passed on. Bill is survived by his lovely wife of 37 years, Susan Hicks; his dear son, William Hicks; and his sister, Judy Myer. Bill was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Julia Bowie Hicks and the late Elwood W. Hicks, Sr.. He was a member of the United States Army from 1967 to 1970. During his service, he earned a Purple Heart and an Air Medal. He was employeed as a Parts Technician for Hays Lagon in Landover, Maryland. He was an active member of the Disabled American Veterans. Bill loved the outdoors. He greatly enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and camping. He was an active man who loved life. He will be missed by many.
