Emily Murphy (nee Ivanac), 60, a resident of Linthicum for 28 years, lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 15, 2012. She was born in Baltimore, MD on March 29, 1952 to the late Evelyn and Nicefor Ivanac. Emily graduated from Andover High School in 1970 and retired from NSA after 34 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 37 years, Timothy B. Murphy. She is survived by her two sisters, June Mary Kern of Pasadena and Matija Anna Wagner of Ferndale; two nieces, Matija Hoppe and Robin Kronenwetter; two nephews, Ricky Kern and Georgie Wagner; three great-nieces, Jessica, Rachael, and Kimberly Hoppe (also her Goddaughter); three great nephews, Ricky and Ryan Kronenwetter and Nicholas Wagner (also her Godson); and her beloved Golden Retriever, Tucker.
