Erich Scanland

Erich B. Scanland, 27, of Severn, died suddenly at his home on July 31, 2011. Erich was born in 1984 in Washington, DC. He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School where he was an honor student. Erich worked at L&C Electric in Odenton for the past 5 years. His hobbies included crabbing, fishing, playing pool, was an avid Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter Chloe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Paul Scanland, Inez Belle Scanland, and Anna J. Corbin. He is survived by his girlfriend of 2 years, Kimberly Ann Upperman; two children, Chloe Rose Upperman and Dominick Scanland; his parents, Ann and Michael Scanland; two brothers, Ed Perry and wife Trisha and Christopher Perry and wife Tracy; a sister-in-law, Norissa Buckmaster; and five nieces, Sami, Tasha, Kaitie, Anna, and Brielle.
