Estella Pumphrey

On March 6, 2017, Estelle May Pumphrey, 91, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Estella was born on July 18, 1925, in Baltimore, to the late Blanche and Leonard Linton. She was a member of the American Legion Post 40 Ladies Auxiliary, IBEW Retirees, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Estella enjoyed traveling (especially cruises), bowling, and gambling at the casinos.
Estella was predeceased by her devoted husband, William J. Pumphrey Sr., her son Lee Linton Pumphrey Sr., and her brother Charles M. Linton. She is survived by her loving children, Joyce M. Cleveland and William J. Pumphrey Jr. and his wife Linda; her dear daughter-in-law, Darlene Pumphrey; her cherished grandchildren, Susan (Hood) Personett and her husband Mark, Lee Linton Pumphrey Jr., Brian Pumphrey and his wife Joann, Monica Pumphrey, and William Pumphrey III; and her five beloved great-grandchildren.
