Esthalee Dodson

On October 19, 2015, Esthalee V. Dodson, 90, of Pasadena, Maryland passed away at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. She was born in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, in 1925 to the late Rhoda and Clarence Bivens. Esthalee was a homemaker and member of Pasadena United Methodist Church. She was also Past President of the Annapolis Cedarettes. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, dancing, and sharing funny stories.
Esthalee was predeceased by her cherished husband of 74 years, James H. Dodson, her daughter, Gloria Jean Hicks, and her siblings, Mabel Robinson, Vada Bivens, Clay Bivens, and Grant Bivens. She is survived by her beloved children, James E. Dodson, Eldwin L. Dodson, and Angela M. Anderson; her dear brother, Clarence Bivens; her loving grandchildren, Daniel and David Dodson, Donald Hicks, and Radley and Hannah Anderson; and her six cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Monday, October 26, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Interment Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown on Tuesday, October 27 at 2 PM.
