Eual “Bud” Conley, 73, of Pasadena, passed away on February 23, 2022, in his home. He was born in Boyd County, Kentucky, on May 21, 1948, to the late Ella and Eual Conley, but was raised by his mom and step-dad, Bill Wenker. Bud worked as a tower crane operator at Maryland Shipbuilding and Dry Dock until they closed. He then went on to work as a truck driver, and then retiring as a custom painter. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and fishing.
Bud is survived by the love of his life of 55 years, Darlene Conley (nee Ochs), whom he married on September 17, 1966; his loving children, Dean Joseph Conley and his wife Vicki, Darlene Renee Hill (nee Conley) and her husband Mike, and William “Billy” Edward Conley and his wife Becky; his cherished grandchildren, Colin Conley, Dillon Conley, Luke Conley, Samuel Hill, Trent Hill, Mitchell Conley, Ruby Conley, Liam Conley, and Josephine Conley; and his dear sisters, Debra Kirby and her husband, Otts; and Mary Basse. In addition to his parents, Bud was predeceased by his brother, Haskell Vernon Conley. He also leaves behind a large extended family, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, March 1st, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church, 8325 Ventnor Road, Pasadena, Maryland 21122.
