Eugene Chamberlin Sr

Eugene "Gene" R. Chamberlin, Sr., 90, of Glen Burnie, passed away at his residence on November 25, 2015. Gene was born on April 3, 1925 in State College, Pennsylvania. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, the Knights of Columbus Counsel 14612, the Moose and the Teamsters Local 355. He was also a Boy Scout Master.

Gene was preceded in death by his former wife, Doris A. Chamberlin and his son, George A. Chamberlin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanora "Ellie" A. Chamberlin; his children, Louella "Becky" Brown and her husband, Bill; Eugene "Gene" Chamberlin, Jr. and his wife, Carla; Gary Chamberlin and his wife, Cindy; Alfred "Freddie" Chamberlin and his wife, Patty; his step children, Susan Kroupa and her husband, Gary; Carroll A. Melvin, Jr. and his wife, Linda; and Michael A. Melvin, Sr. and his wife, Karen. Gene is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus, St. Philip Neri Council 14612 or the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
