Eugune Allgaier

Eugene Alfred Allgaier, 89, of Linthicum, Maryland, passed away on November 3, 2021, at his home.  Gene was born in Long Island, New York on June 17, 1932, to the late Ida Allgaier and George Wheeler.  He served his country proudly in the United States Navy, and went on to work for 38 years on the B&O and CSX Railroads.  Gene enjoyed swimming, bird watching, and maintaining his yard.

Gene is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Constance L. Allgaier; his beloved son, Larry D. Vandervort; his loving daughter-in-law, Terry Vandervort; his cherished grandchildren, Tracy, Brian, Carrie, Chuck, and Chrissie; his eighteen cherished great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Gene was predeceased by his eleven dear siblings.
