On December 28, 2008, Eva Mae Snyder of Princess Anne, Maryland for 4 years. Previously of Mt. Pleasant Beach in Pasadena, Maryland for 63 years. Beloved wife of 49 years of the late Raymond L. Snyder, Sr.; loving mother of Raymond L. Snyder, Jr., Susann Steyer, Virginia Rodefer and the late Levi Frederick Snyder, Sr.; cherished grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 33 and great-great-grandmother of 14. Eva was born in Greenfield Township, Pennsylvania in 1910. During her career, she was the manager of a grocery store for 3 years. She was also with C&P Telephone Company as an Operator for several years. She held several business office positions. She retired from C&P Telephone Company after 32 years of service. Eva was a member of several senior citizens clubs in Pasadena. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Retires & Campers Club. She was very active in all the clubs that she belonged to. Eva had many hobbies. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She visited extended family in California, Arizona, Virginia, etc. She travelled to many places to be with her family and friends. Eva loved to play games and cards. She taught Pinochle at the Pasadena Senior Center that she belonged to. She was very active with Senior Clubs for years. A celebration of her life will be held at Mt. Pleasant Beach Improvement Center following her service from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
