Evelyn Long

On October 21, 2007, Evelyn Mae Long, a 44 year resident of Glen Burnie passed away at her home. She was 86. A devoted mother to David G. Long, Verna N. Foster,Bonnie G. Brown, the late Gordon Garlitz, and the late Carol Lashbaugh; a dear wife of the late Alvie E. Long; a loving sister of Lawrence Hetz, Alice Crow, and Cathy Hetz. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Long was born on December 17, 1920 in Frostburg, Maryland. She worked for the Pinewood Senior Center and Concord Fibers and was a member of Marley Methodist Church. Evelyn enjoyed birds, gardening, crossword puzzles, and country music.
