Florence T. Kaszewski

Florence Theresa Sutt Kaszewski, 96, formerly of Crownsville, Maryland; Linthicum, Maryland; and Nanticoke, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 1, 2025. She was known by her neighbors and daughters’ friends as Ms. Flo. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

 Florence studied to be a Medical Secretary at Wilkes-Barre Business College after graduating from high school. She was very active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Glen Burnie Elks where she served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Glen Burnie Elks in 1994. You could always find her helping out at the Elks’ Bingo evenings.

 Florence was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Bernard Z. Kaszewski; her brother Joseph Sutt, and parents, Lucy Henrietta and Peter Paul Sutt. Florence is survived by her two daughters, LuAnne (Lucille Anne) Williams and husband, Bernard, and Diane Marie Cislo and her husband, Jeffrey; five grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Williams Chism and husband, Michael Chism, Matthew Cislo, David Bernard Williams Casolaro and husband, Robert Casolaro, Jennifer Marie Cislo Hensley and husband, Tyler Hensley, and Allison Lynn Cislo Kimery and husband, Randy Clark Kimery Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Dominic Kimery and Vincent Kimery.

 Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services in Glen Burnie, MD on Monday, Feb. 10th, from 2 – 5 PM. A funeral mass for Florence will be held offered on Tuesday, Feb. 11th, at 12 pm, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Linthicum, MD. Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD immediately following the funeral mass. Florence’s favorite charitable organization was St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
