Florence Anna Waclawski(nee Zimmerman),98, formerly of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Catonsville.
Florence was born on March 1, 1920 in Baltimore to the late Eugene C. and Anna Zimmerman. She married Frank John Waclawski on February 23,1941 at St. Rose Lima Church in Brooklyn. Florence was a homemaker. She loved and devoted herself to her family. Her faith was an important part of her life as well, Florence and Frank were members of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Point Pleasant. In the later years she enjoyed attending Mass in the Chapel of St. Joseph's Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Francis J. Waclawski; granddaughter, Shelia Waclawski; son-in-law, Norman Rychwalski; parents; and her siblings, Helen, Elsie, Eugene, Delores, and Geraldine.
She is survived by her children, Geraldine I. Good and her husband Donald, Sharon Ann Rychwalski, and Phillip J. Waclawski and his wife Karen; grandchildren Donna Whited, Michael and Kevin Good, Richard and Ronnie Waclawski, Phyllis Ann, Neal and Edward Gurtler, Suzanne and Daniel Waclawski; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors in the chapel of St. Joseph's Nursing Home 1222 Tugwell Drive Catonsville, MD 21228 on Friday, March 23rd, from 9-10 AM for a Visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence will follow at 10 in the Chapel of St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Nursing Home 1222 Tugwell Drive Catonsville, MD 21228.
