Frances Braun

On March 30, 2008, Frances E. Braun passed on. Frances was dearly loved by her late husband Joseph A. Braun, Sr. to whom she was married for 52 years; her cherished children, Karen L. Byrd, Donna M. Braun and the late Joseph A. Braun, Jr.; her dear sisters, Emma Markowski and the late Violet Srock; her dear brothers, the late Harvey E. Jr. and Harold A. Behringer; two beloved grandchildren and three dear great-grandchildren. Frances was born in Washington, D.C. in 1922. She was a resident of Severna Park, Maryland for 47 years. Early in life, she worked for the Hoschild's Department Store. She then began a career with the Department of Defense on February 22, 1954. She retired from the Department of Defense in 1984. Frances was a member of the Ladies of the Elks and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a devoted member of the Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church. Frances enjoyed many hobbies in life including reading, swimming, travelling, crocheting and painting. She was a dear woman who will be missed by many.
