Frances Stephens

STEPHENS, Frances Pumphrey, 84, of Odenton, passed away on February, 10, 2014. Frances was born in Odenton on September 28, 1929 to the late Frances and William Zalder. She worked at A.A. Co. Farmers Co-Op in Glen Burnie. She was a longtime member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church and she volunteered with Hospice of the Chesapeake. Frances loved farming and animals and she was a lifelong farmgirl.
Frances was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester C. Pumphrey, her second husband, William F. Stephens, and her grandson, John Pumphrey. She is survived by her beloved children, Robert Pumphrey (wife Dolores), Nathaniel Pumphrey, Mary Frances Bogdanowicz, and Cory Stephens (wife Mary Jo); her loving grandchildren, Kimberly Walter, Shandy Pumphrey, Robert Stack, Daniel Stack, and Tiffany Schwab and eight cherished great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frances' name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
