Frances Terry

Frances Lee Terry, 95, of Luray, Virginia, formerly of Ferndale, Maryland, passed away on April 25, 2023. She was born in Baltimore to the late Francis and Hazel Good. She was the oldest active member of the Luray Moose Lodge #1413. She enjoyed playing BINGO, reading Amish romance novels, boating, traveling, loved the beach and enjoyed her Maryland blue crab and Coors Light. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Coleman Arrington Terry Sr.; son, Coleman Arrington Terry Jr.; and her six siblings.

Frances is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Annette Lee Griffith (Kevin Moyer), David Coleman Terry (Jennifer) and Sheila Terry Lapp (Kenny); adored great-grandchildren, Dwight Douglas Griffith (Makenzie), Chance Ryan Griffith (Mallory Daily), Rachel Marie Lapp and Nathaniel Adam Lapp; loving great-great-grandson, Laiken Jett Griffith; dear sister-in-law, Audrey Good; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, May 4th, from 11 AM – 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
