Francis Guerke

Francis "Frank" G. Guerke, 84 of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 23, 2009 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1925. Served in the US Navy as an Electrician's Mate Third Class during WWII. Frank was a electrician by trade and become the electrician branch manager for the US Naval Academy. He was a Life Time Member of the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge and the August J. Ravieo American Legion Post #195. Frank liked to golf, enjoyed sports and was an Orioles fan. He also was an animal lover.
Frank was the beloved husband of the late Margaret E. Guerke, devoted father of David Guerke, Lynn Moore, Thomas Silvers, Stephen Silvers and Sharon Durschlag. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
