Francis Poteet

On January 8, 2010, Francis Andrew Poteet of Crownsville; beloved husband of the late Esther Poteet; loving father of Albert Louis Fear, Jr. (formerly known as Robert Francis Poteet) and Betty Carol Elswick; dear father-in-law of Lloyd Carey Elswick; cherished grandfather of one. He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry J. Poteet. He served in the United States Army from 1941-1945. During that time, he received Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, Purple Heart, and American Defense Service Medal. Francis worked for many years as a Senior Quality Control Inspector at Locke Insulator. He belonged to the Baltimore Masonic Lodge #210. He had many hobbies including photography, reading, traveling, watching sports, and was an all around "handyman".
