Frank P. Fries Jr., 81, of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 20, 2019. He was born in Baltimore to the late Frank and Alice Fries. He honorably served in the United States Navy from 1956-1959. Frank retired from Westinghouse / Northrop Grumman after 39 years of service. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was also a member with the Model Railroad Club in Severna Park. He enjoyed trains, hunting and fishing, puzzles, boating and camping. He organized blood drives with the American Red Cross and has donated over 25 gallons of blood. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary; loving children, Jerry Fries and his wife, Karen, Patti Roberts and her husband, Ross, Nancy Myers and Joni Stroh; and eight cherished grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie on Friday, Jan. 25th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross by visiting www.redcross.org.
