Frank Jordan

On January 9, 2009, Frank John Jordan, a resident of Sykesville, passed on after a long illness. Beloved husband of 62 years to Eileen; loving father of John and his wife Diane; cherished grandfather of Heather Penn and her husband Mark, and John Jordan, Jr.; devoted great grandfather of Nolan, Tanner, and Delaney Penn; dear brother of Edward Jordan. He was preceded in death by his siblings Nick, John, Raymond, Helen, Julia, and Theresa. Frank was born in Baltimore Highlands to the late Elizabeth and Johann Jordan. He worked as a machinist for B & O Railroad and Procter and Gamble. He served on the battleship Iowa in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #195. Frank greatly enjoyed wood carving, but most of all, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
