Frank Marvel, Jr

Frank Louis Marvel, Jr., 93, of Glen Burnie, died on July 9, 2011. Frank was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 9, 1917. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1936 and retired from Bethlehem Steel shipbuilding in 1980 after 39 years of service. Frank was an avid crabber, fisher, hunter and loved watching the Baltimore Orioles. He is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Doris Hazel; one son, Robert Lee and wife Betsy; daughter-in-law, Mary; grandchildren, David, Robert W. and wife Pam, Randy and companion Chris, Ronald and wife Lisa; great-grandchildren, Mandi Quinn and husband Chris, Amber, Miranda, Ronald, Kevin, and David; one great-great-grandson, Blake; and one sister, Theresa Detrich. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna; one son, Francis Larry; and three siblings, Shirley, Anna and Louis.
