Frank Svoboda

Frank "Jocko" Svoboda, 89, of Glen Burnie passed away on October 29, 2015. Frank was born on May 19, 1926 in Baltimore. He was the founder of the Anne Arundel Umpires Association. He retired from Crown Cork & Seal after 40 years of service. He was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Frank was an avid stamp collector and loved being on the ball field.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Antoinette "Toni" Svoboda; his children, Barbara Svoboda and her husband McGregor Yatsevitch, Frank Svoboda, Richard Svoboda, Thomas Svoboda, Anna Gable and her husband Charles, and Gilbert Svoboda; his two grandchildren, Taylor Gable and Alex Svoboda; his two sisters, Rita Manfuso and Doris Kyne.
