Loving son of Helen and the Reverand Robert Corpening. Fond brother of Louella C. Bailey, Robin C. Strayhorn, Helen Willimison, Velma D. Jones, Benjamin A., Jerry R., Annie Rose, Shirley I., Walter A., Christopher L., and Cheryl Corpening. Mr. Corpening was retired from the US Army as a Master Sergeant. He graduated from the University of Maryland and worked for Federal Aviation Administration.
