Frederick Ervin Jr

Frederick Elwood Ervin, Jr., 56, of Severna Park passed away suddenly on April 18, 2014. Frederick was born in 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. He worked as a Proposal Manager at EMC Corporation. Frederick was a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church, Fleet Reserve Club, Crownsville Moose Lodge, and the Annapolis Elks. He enjoyed boating, watching the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, traveling to Key West, FL, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and running the family business, C&F Equipment Company. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra Ervin (nee Pumphrey); his daughter, Amanda Lawson and her husband Daniel; two grandchildren, Zachary and Ethan Lawson; mother, Sandra A. Ervin; mother-in-law, Rita Pumphrey and her husband John Sakowski; and two uncles, William D. Ervin and William DePuey. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Ervin, Sr.
