Frederick Ervin, Sr

Frederick E. Ervin, Sr., 71, a longtime resident of Severna Park, died July 28, at John Hopkins-Bayview Hospital of natural causes.
Born April 18, 1938 to Flora E. and William Dorsey Ervin in Irvington, he was a 1955 graduate of Poly Tech High. He had a lengthy career in the equipment industry, working 44 years as a Heavy Equipment Salesman for TRU-ROL, and for 35 years an owner & operator of C&F Equipment Co.
He was a member of Zeta Eta Theta, Past Commodore of White Rocks Yacht Club, East Port Yacht Club, Fleet Reserve Club of Annapolis, and U.S. Power Squadron.
He enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing, spending time with his friends and going to Key West.
Beloved wife of 53 years, Sandra A. Ervin. Devoted father of Frederick E. Ervin, Jr. and his wife Sandra D. Ervin of Severna Park. Loving grandfather of Amanda D.Ervin of Pasadena. Fond brother of William D. Ervin of Chester.
Visitation is Monday, August 3, 3 -5 p.m. & 7- 9 p.m. at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave. SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
Funeral services and Interment will be private. Memorial Donations may be made to University of MD, Cardiac Care, I.C.U., 22 S. Green St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
