On July 14, 2008, George Joseph Bilenki of Glen Burnie passed on. George was dearly loved by his beloved wife of 49 years, Elsie C. Bilenki; his loving children, Margaret Hood, Sharon Weaver, Susie Baker, Donna Early and George Bilenki; his dear sister, Helen Weishaar; his dear brothers, Tony Bilenki and Will Bilenki; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Bilenki, Paul Bilenki, Michael "Mitch" Bilenki, Pete Bilenki and James "Jeep" Bilenki. George was born in Curtis Bay, Maryland in 1930. After raising his children, he decided to go back to complete his high school education at the age of 45. He graduated from Andover High School. He was a Machinist Mechanic for Canton Railroad, Revere Copper & Brass and Westinghouse. He also owned an auto shop. George was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose 1456, United Auto Workers and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. George enjoyed many hobbies in life including dancing and singing. He loved tinkering with motors. He was a big fan of Looney Toons, especially Wile E. Coyote and Yosemite Sam. George was a very gentle and kind man. He will be missed by many.
