George Hendrix

On July 5, 2007, George W. Hendrix of Glen Burnie passed away at Morningside House of Friendship of natural causes. He is the beloved husband of 65 years to H. Elizabeth Hendrix; and dear brother to Ted Hendrix and the late Loyd and Paul Hendrix. He is also survived by three nephews. George served in the United States Navy from 1937-1945. He became Master Chief Petty Officer for the U.S. Navy. He belonged to the Baltimore First 7th Day Adventist Church. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed reading, and talking about the Navy; he was a career Navy man. He will be greatly missed.
