George C. Herget, Jr., 61, of Glen Burnie, passed away on October 21, 2016. He was born on June 11, 1955 in Baltimore. George was a Master Electrician with Local 24. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching his children play sports and coaching. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan. George is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia R. Herget; his children, Thomas Herget, Melanie Herget-Siira (Alina Siira) and Joanie Gulden (Brian Gulden); his mother, Lois Herget; and his brother, Gary Herget, Sr. (Lynn Herget). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, October 27th from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral service will be held at Friday, October 28th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
