Devoted husband to Anna Phelps for 59 years; loving father of Joseph and wife Dottie Phelps and Louis and wife Bonnie Phelps; caring grandfather to Jessica and husband Dave Gunter, Stephanie and husband Ryan Dempsey, Natalie and husband Steve Broadwater, Josh and wife Tonya Phelps and Greg Phelps; loving great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren, Kayla and Braden Phelps, Andrew Dempsey and Ethan Gunter. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of close friends and family.
