George Spindler

On December 6, 2006, George F. "Bud" Spindler passed on. Bud is survived by his loving wife, Elsie Lee (Hopf) Spindler, with whom he enjoyed a happy marriage for 50 years. He is also survived by his sons, Jeffrey and Gary Spindler; his daughter, Judith Petrik; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Erin, Emma and Christopher. Bud was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1934. He was a member of the Marine Corps from 1952 to 1956. He studied at the Maryland Institute of Art and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. After going to school, Bud was the owner and operator of the company Spin Graphics for 25 years. He greatly enjoyed his career. Bud was a member of the American Legion Dewey Loman Post. He enjoyed life. He loved golfing, sailing and painting. Bud was a dear man to both his family and his friends.
