On October 28, 2013, Giau Thi Garrett, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her residence after a 32 year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Mrs. Garrett was born in Vietnam on December 24, 1940 and came to the USA in 1972.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years James Taylor Garrett, Sr, her children; Jason Garrett, Tina Holmes, Cindy Rivera, Angela Wivell, James Garrett, Jr., and Karen Musselman, and 16 grandchildren. Mrs. Garrett is preceded in death by her son, James Robert Garrett, and a grandson, Mateo Rivera.
