Gloria Jean Frye

Gloria Jean Frye, 74, proud owner of Larry’s Tavern, passed away on March 17, 2025. She is survived by her loving sons, David Frye and Mark J. Frye and his wife, Della; cherished grandchildren, Sabrina Listman (Angel Couch), Vanessa Adkins (Bernard Adkins) and Sylvia Frye (Travis Mallary); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Savanna, Ella, Evitt and Emersyn.

Born in Baltimore, she was the loving daughter of the late Nelson C. and Estella I. Pearce; and dear sister of the late Estella Cook and Patricia Wolford. Gloria dedicated her life to serving at Larry’s Tavern, where her presence and involvement in numerous fundraisers made a lasting impact on those around her. An honorary member of IAFF, she was known for her unwavering support and dedication to her community.

Gloria had a passion for watching NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. She found joy in visiting the beach, playing the lottery and spending time at the casino. Above all, her friends and family were her greatest treasures, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
