Goldie Hart

On February 2, 2007, Goldie Virginia Hart (nee Twigg) passed away at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Brantley C. Hart Sr. for 39 years; Loving mother of Brantley C. Hart Jr. and Bonnie E. Campfield; Caring sister of Flo McCready and the late Louise Bailey. Goldie was a resident of Glen Burnie for 50 years. Before starting a family, she worked for the telephone company and for Hochild Kohn's Department Store. Goldie was a volunteer and an officer for A.A.R.P. Some of her volunteer work included working at the Glen Burnie Carnival each year. She was also a member of the American Legion and a Charter Member of Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie. Goldie had quite a collection of bears. She loved animals and especially her dog Cricket. Goldie also enjoyed sewing (she sewed all her daughter's clothes when she was younger), dancing, fishing and going to the dinner theater. She loved to go out to dinner and to go traveling with her family and many friends. She was an active lady with a true love of life. She will be missed deeply.
