Grace Beard

On Wednesday August 19th Grace B. Beard, a 50 year resident of Severn, passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Grace was born in McKenney, VA on January 8, 1932 to Eddie and Estelle Gilliam. She worked at Baltimore City Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 35 years. Mrs. Beard was a member of the Severn Improvement Association. She enjoyed watching the Orioles, gardening, taking care of her flower beds, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband Napoleon Beard, Sr. She is survived by her son, Napoleon Beard, Jr. and his wife Serita, her daughter Angela Beard, her granddaughters, Sherita Johnston and her husband James, and Natalie Beard and her fiancé Christian, her great granddaughter, Jalyn Johnston, and her siblings; Kathleen Byer, Mary Whitaker, Linwood Gilliam, Lucille Downes, and Gloria Pride
