Harriet Blubaugh

On November 30, 2015, Harriet Josephine Blubaugh, 96, passed away at St. Elizabeth Nursing and Rehab in Baltimore. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1919, to the late Frances and William Gilbert. Harriet was a homemaker and parishioner of Holy Trinity and the Shrine of the Sacred Heart Catholic Churches. She enjoyed all sports, reading, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch, and all things Irish.
Harriet was predeceased by her devoted husband of 45 years, Bernard J. Blubaugh, her daughter, Frances Helen Blubaugh, and her three sisters. She is survived by her beloved children, Harriett "Randy" Veith and Bernie Blubaugh and his wife Diane; her loving grandchildren, Eric Hedrick, Nina Spiller, Carole Hackenberg, Robin Veith, Lynn Blubaugh, Brian Blubaugh Erica Blubaugh; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Olivia Spiller, Abby Hedrick, Nate Hedrick, Finn Hedrick, Avery Hackenberg, and Brett Hackenberg.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Thursday, December 3, from 6-9 PM and on Friday, December 4, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 5, at 11AM at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart, 5800 Smith Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harriet's name may be made to American Cancer Society Memorial Program, 1041 Route 3 North Building A1, Gambrills, MD 21054 OR Alzheimer's Association, Greater MD Chapter, 1850 York Road, Ste.
