On March 31, 2007, Harriet Y. Stancil passed on. Harriet was dearly loved by her family which includes her late husband, Joseph C. Stancil; her dear nephews, James B., Herman L., Walter W. and Kenneth A. Southworth, and Robert and Thurman Yarbrough; her dear niece, Deborah Hurman; and her loving great-nieces, Tracy and Kristie Hurman. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Walter and Reese Yarbrough; her dear brothers, Claude and Walter Yarbrough; and her dear sister, Helen E. Southworth. Harriet was born in Virginia in 1921. She lived in Pasadena, Maryland for over 6 years. She worked at Bell South, in Richmond, Virginia, for 25 years. She was the Chief Operator. She was a member of the Pioneers Club with the telephone company. Harriet enjoyed many hobbies, such as watching television. She was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Harriet loved her family dearly. She will be missed by many people.
