Haymon Boyd Preast

Haymon B. Preast, age 86, passed away at his home in Severna Park, Maryland, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 29, 2019. He was born on July 10, 1932, Vinton West Virginia to George Theodore Preast and Mamie Virginia "Virgie" Rodgers.
In 1951, he married Mary Peterson. Together, they had two children and moved to Maryland. During his life, Haymon worked for Owens-Illinois bottling factory, REA Express at Union Station, and later as an Property Manager.
He was a man of honorable beliefs and love of family and always held a deep connection to his roots in West Virginia and God. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary; son, Timothy; daughter, Teresa; 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Daniel, Tabitha, and David; 7 great grandchildren; and his eldest sister, Glenna Kincaid. He will be missed and forever remembered by all who knew his wealth of kindness and love.

Private services and burial will be held in Davidsonville at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
