Hazel Louise Williamson

Hazel Louise Williamson, 96, of Essex, formerly of Severn, passed away on December 18, 2022, at her home.  She was born in War, West Virginia, on October 4, 1926, to the late Martha and John Atwell.  Hazel was a stay-at-home Mom & housewife, and she enjoyed crafting, bowling, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Hazel is survived by her cherished daughter, Elizabeth E. Snowden; her dear son-in-law, Ed Snowden; and her close extended family, Charles, Tina, Charlie, and Tracy Niemeyer.  She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Warner Williamson, and her beloved sons, Jerry Williamson and Ronnie Atwell.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy), on Wednesday, December 21st, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 22nd, at 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel.  Interment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens to follow.
