Helen Lessner

Helen S. Lessner (nee Shaney), 96, of Pasadena, died March 28 at home. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 15, 1915 to the late William and Margaret Shaney. Helen enjoyed bingo, playing cards, eating crabs, slot machines and taking day trips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lessner and her daughter, Dorothy Smith. Helen is survived by her son, Robert Lessner and wife Joan; grandchildren, Helen Gorman and husband Jim, Bill Smith and wife Donna, Charles Smith and wife Kathy, Jean Gilberto, Edward Smith and wife Wanda, Debbie Rauser and husband Mark and Dean Lessner and wife Brenda; 14 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
