Helen Verill

Mrs. Helen Verill, 81, of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on September 5, 2010 at Tate Hospice House. Helen was born in Maryland in 1929 to the late Edith and William Robertson. She worked as a payroll clerk for the US Department of the Army for 20 years. Helen was a longtime active member of Abundant Life Church, participating as Church Secretary, Sunday School teacher, Missionette's Leader and Life Group Member. Her hobbies included bowling, fishing, watching sports and making crafts. Helen was also a collector of dolls, lighthouses and elephants. She was the beloved wife of 35 years of Norman D. Verill; devoted mother of Melanie Crawford and husband Robert; dear sister of Mary Stonesifer and Evelyn Murphy; loving step-mother of Nelson Turner, Jr. and Carolyn Wood.
