Helen Wolfe

Helen L. Wolfe, 72, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 20, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on July 6, 1941 in Sperryville, Virginia to the late Russell and Bessie Bailey. She worked for many years as a teacher's aide in the Anne Arundel County school system. Helen was known for her love of working with children, kindergarten-1st grade. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Calvin "Sonny" Wolfe; two sons, Mark A. Wolfe and wife Renee of Westminster, MD and Tim W. Wolfe and wife Tina of Remington, VA; two grandchildren, Madeline "Maddy" Wolfe of Westminster, MD and Kady Wolfe of Remington, VA; and siblings, Junior Bailey, Bobby Pullen and Ann Pullen. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Chuck Bailey.
Visitation will also be held at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Avenue; Smithsburg, MD 21783, on Wednesday, from 10 AM-12 PM, with a funeral service immediately following at 12 PM. Interment Smithsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Arthritis Foundation, PO Box 96280; Washington, DC 20077.
