Henrietta Margaret Hyatt, 83, of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 11, 2016, at her daughter's home. Henrietta was born in Baltimore in 1933, to the late Gertrude and Elmer Weidenhoft. She was a crossing guard for Anne Arundel County for 18 years and was a devout member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Henrietta also belonged to the Glen Burnie Home Arts Club and the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge. She loved crocheting, crafting, bowling, camping, baking, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Henrietta was predeceased by her devoted husband of 60 years, Eugene J. Hyatt and her grandson, Tyler Hyatt. She is survived by her beloved children Eugene W. Hyatt and his wife Barbara, Dawn M. Sarro and her fiance Kenny Klingensmith, and Donna L. Dale and her husband Larry; her loving grandchildren, Rusty Hyatt, Jessica DeLucca, Joshua Sarro, Erica Smith, and Brittney Watkins; seven cherished great-grandchildren; and her dear brother, Charles Weidenhoft.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Monday, August 15th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 16th, at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 BandA Blvd. in Glen Burnie. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Henrietta's name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
