Mr. Baines was born on September 13, 1929 in Gatesville, N.C., to Shirley and Myrtle Baines. He honorably served our country in the US Army. Henry worked at the Government Printing Office.
Mr. Baines was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Baines. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Shelby Holley, his stepson, Roger Mathis, his sister, Louise Spain, his nephews, David and William Spain, and his niece, Susan Scruggs.
