Henry Carlson

On February 20, 2010, Henry "Gene" Carlson, a 41 year resident of Glen Burnie, passed away at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Gene is the cherished husband of 41 years to Andrea; loving father of Glenn and his wife Elizabeth; dear uncle of Ed Carlson and Adale Whistler. Gene was preceded in death by two brothers and his parents, Glenn and Mary Ellen Carlson. Gene attended Johns Hopkins University, graduated with honors, and received his degree in engineering. He worked with COMSAT Laboratories from 1968-2000, and Maritime Institute of Technology from 2000-2010. Gene served in the United States Navy and was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd. Some of his hobbies included photography, computers and programming, reading, and "tinkering" with electronics.
