Herbert Smith

Herbert Smith, 80 of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 22, 2015. Herb was born on May 17, 1934 in Baltimore to the late Benjamin and Katherine Smith. He retired after 35 years of service from the City of Baltimore Transit & Traffic Division. He was a member of the Ferndale Community Club and American Legion. Herb enjoyed hunting, fishing and crabbing. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Herb is survived by his beloved sunshine of 60 years, Mary K. Smith (nee Shuppel); his two sons, Karl E. Smith and his wife, Karen D. Smith and Brian S. Smith; his grandson, Ryan M. Smith; his siblings, John E. Smith and Catherine Mercer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
