On February 24, 2008, H.G. Cawthorne, Jr. passed on. H.G. is survived by his beautiful wife, Dawn Cawthorne; his loving sons, Chuck, Troy and Paul Cawthorne; and 4 grandchildren. H.G. was predeceased by his dear parents, Juanita and Harold G. Cawthorne, Sr.; and his grandparents, Paul and Holly Cawthorne and Herbert and Mary Wilmer. H.G. was born in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1945. He was a member of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. While in the service, he received the Purple Heart for his honorable service. H.G. worked for the NSA. He retired after 40 years of service for the Federal Government. H.G. enjoyed many hobbies in life. He loved model railroads and airplanes and woodworking. He was a fan of the Washington Redskins and of NASCAR. During his life he enjoyed flying and he was a private pilot. H.G. was a dear man who will be missed by many.
