Hilda Chaney

On November 26, 2015, Mrs. Hilda E. Chaney, a lifetime resident of Odenton, passed away at her son's residence in Glen Burnie. Mrs. Chaney was born in Odenton on December 1, 1924. She worked as the Cafeteria Manager at Odenton Elementary. Hilda enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets and was an avid Garfield collector.

She is survived by her children, John E. Chaney, Sr., and Sharon L. Titus, and her grandchildren; John Chaney, Jr., Shawn Cousins, and Erin Handley, her great grandchildren; Mindy Nestor, Jeremy Cousins, Trey Chaney, Amber Chaney, Haven Bolton, and Laney Handley, and her great great grandchildren; Gracie, Bentley, and Chloe Nestor. Mrs. Chaney was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John Gentry Chaney, her granddaughter, Tina Titus, and her siblings; Bill Hood, Dick Chaney, Abie Chaney, Ethel Chaney, and Dorothy Switzer.
